Isaac Djerassi, 93, of Dartmouth passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
He was the husband of the late Mimi (Antonova) Djerassi.
Born in Sophia, Bulgaria, he migrated to Israel after World War II and later resided in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Dartmouth 25 years ago.
He is survived by his son Dr. Boris D. Djerassi, a Chiropractic Physician who maintains an office in Fall River and who had been a U.S. Olympian in Track and Field.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport, Friday, August 31st at 11 AM.
