Robert C. Cecchini, III, a life-long resident of Medford, was born into eternal life on Thursday, August 30th, surrounded by his loving family, at the Tufts Medical Center of Boston. He was 63.
Robert was the beloved husband of Donna Marie (Harrington) Cecchini. The two married on June 6, 1987 at Sacred Heart Church in Medford. Together they shared 31 loving years of marriage. Robert was the devoted father of James Robert Cecchini and Michael Joseph Cecchini, both of Medford. He was the dear brother of Nancy Todisco and her husband Dennis of Medford, and nephew of the late Joseph Geraci. Robert is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. Cecchini Jr. and Rita D. (Geraci) Cecchini.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford on Wednesday, September 5th at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 4 from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
