LACONIA-----Beverly L. (Sinton) Morrison, 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, August 27, 2018 at The Taylor Home Community. She had been a resident there for the last year and a half since the passing of her husband John, in early 2017.
Beverly was born on November 18, 1925 in Meredith, the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna (VanPelt) Sinton of Meredith. She attended Meredith schools, graduating in 1943. After graduation she attended a business school in Laconia.
Prior to her 70 year marriage to John Morrison she worked for White Mountain Power and New England Telephone. She was married on June 29, 1946 in Belmont, and then made her home in Laconia for the next 70 years.
In her early years she was a stay at home mom, raising two boys, but eventually went to work for the Globe Discount Store, and later spent twenty three years at New Hampshire Ball Bearing.
In her retirement years she and John wintered in Siesta Key, Florida returning home to enjoy their back deck and swimming pool with their family and friends.
Beverly is survived by two sons, John Jr. and his wife, Fran, of Belmont and Kerry and his wife, Claire, of Gilford; a granddaughter, Julie McBride and her husband, Mark, of Gilford; a great granddaughter, Emma McBride, also of Gilford.
A Calling Hour will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 10:00am - 11:00am at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 11:00am also at the Funeral Home.
Burial will follow the services in Village Cemetery, Meredith NH.
