Timothy J. Donahue, 61, of Gorham, passed away at his home on Monday August 27, 2018. Tim was born in Concord, NH the son of the late Richard and Beverly (Byrnes) Donahue and grew up in the Concord area. Tim proudly served as an infantryman in the United States Army and had been employed as a Power Line Safety Supervisor for National Grid in Brockton Ma. Tim was a communicant of Holy Family Church in Gorham and was a Volunteer at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin.
Tim was an accomplished athlete who competed in triathlons, umpired college baseball and was an active umpire in the Cape Cod League. An avid Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Tim was passionate about his Roman Catholic faith, had a great sense of humor and a kind heart. He was known to adopt cats from local shelters. Tim will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Tim is survived by his brother Kevin R. Donahue and his wife Linda of Enfield, CT; his nephews Brock Donahue of Stafford CT, and Stephen Donahue of Stafford CT; and several friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 30, 2018 at 1pm at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Friends and Relatives are invited to call from 11:00am to 12:30pm, prior to the Mass, at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade Street, Gorham, NH. Interment with military honors will be Friday August 31, 2018 at 12 noon at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
