James E. McCormick
November 20, 1988- August 26, 2018
ANDOVER: James E. McCormick, age 29, a resident of Andover for the past 5 years, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away at home on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
He was the beloved son of Annmarie (Schelfhaudt) McCormick of Andover and James E. McCormick of Everett.
James was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury Public Schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 2007. During his freshman year in high school, James served as Class President.
After graduation, he attended Fisher College in Boston. In recent years, he was employed as Store Manager by the United Parcel Service in Andover. James was always passionate about his work and had a great rapport with his customers.
James loved the outdoors and especially loved hunting, fishing, and camping. In addition he enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, skiing, sailing, swimming, making pizza, and listening to Hip-Hop Music.
Above all he was devoted to his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Sean-Patrick McCormick of Everett, and Christina McCormick and her fiancé Seancolin Hankins of Ft. Worth, TX; his maternal grandmother, Christina Schelfhaudt of Kittery, ME; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Calling hours are Friday, August 31, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Family and friends are invited to meet on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 198 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover for his Funeral Mass. Private interment will be at First Parish Cemetery in York, Maine. At the request of the family Please Omit Flowers.
