TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Carol Ann (Greene) Torra, age 67, a former resident of Everett and employee of the Mass D.O.T., died unexpectedly on Monday evening, August 27, at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born in Melrose, in May 1951, one of three children of the late Arthur and Mary (Santosuosso) Greene, and raised in Everett. She graduated from Everett High School, and lived in Everett until moving to Tewksbury four years ago.
She commuted to the Department of Transportation Office in Park Plaza for 42 years, where she was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Mass DOT.
Carol was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Totowquan Chapter.
Carol was the beloved mother of Anthony J. and his wife Tracy (Novak) of Tewksbury, with whom she resided; the devoted grandmother of Taya and Tenley; loving sister of Stephen Green Sr. and his wife Karen and Linda Garneau and her husband Paul all of Everett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation Saturday, Sept. 1, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950.
