BELMONT-----Donald Angus Curran, 101, of Laconia Road, passed away at Golden View Healthcare Center in Meredith on Monday, August 27, 2018.
Donald was born on September 11, 1916, in Fitchburg, MA, and has lived in the Lakes Region Area for the past 50 years. He was the most loving, caring patriarch that you could ask for. Donald was always smiling, even to the end.
Donald is survived by his son, Donald C. Curran, Sr.; six grandchildren, Rachel Breen (Curran), Donald C. Curran, Jr., Christopher P. Curran, Mary Ellen Stewart, Shawna Cotter, and Heather Barber; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Donald was predeceased by his wife, Francis Ann Curran and his two sisters, Margery McVey and Dorothy Thompson, and one great, great grandchild, Sophia.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia.
