Gerald J. Boisvert of Medford died on Thursday, August 23, at Woburn Nursing Center. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Louis P. and Anne T. (Haggerty) Boisvert. Gerald proudly served in the Navy during World War II. After returning home he was employed as a Medford Fire Fighter.
Gerald was the beloved husband of the late Nora (Leary) Boisvert, and the devoted father of Gerald J. Boisvert and his wife Gail of South Windsor, Connecticut, and Michael P. Boisvert and his wife Maryellen of Plymouth. He was the loving grandfather of Louis, Stephanie, Philip and Lauren Boisvert, and is survived by loving nieces and nephews.
At the request of the deceased there will be no visiting hours or ceremony.
