Nancy M. (Inserra) Barry, 66, of Acushnet died August 26, 2018 peacefully at home after a long illness.
She was the wife of Michael Barry.
Born in Roxbury, MA, the daughter of the late Louis V. Inserra, Jr. and Angela J. (Damigella) Inserra, she was raised in Medford and lived in Wilmington before moving to Acushnet in 2001.
She enjoyed decorating her home, gardening, going to the gym and animals.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Linda Inserra and her husband Michael DeVito of Saugus, MA; a brother, Gerald Inserra of Malden, MA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Louis V. Inserrra, III.
Her visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 5th from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
