Lowden, Robert P., age 87 of Canton passed away August 25th. Born in Norwood, he was raised in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He worked as a RND Machinist for Johnson & Johnson and EPSCO before retiring. He has lived in Canton since 1959 and was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing hockey with a 35 year and older team. Beloved husband for 66 years to Joan L. (Brown). Father of Robert P. Lowden, Jr. and Susan Marcelino and her husband Steven. Brother of June Goyette and her husband Joseph and the late John Lowden, Dorothy Mixer, Zaida Sumner and Mary Conlon. Grandfather of Richard Allberry and his wife Sabrina, Shannon Allberry, Karissa Allberry and Elizabeth Lowden. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday at 2 pm. Burial private. Burial private.
