Barbara Connor Minter, 74, of Tifton passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. A graveside funeral service will be held for Ms. Minter at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. Her family members will give eulogies.
Born November 6, 1943 in Ocilla, Ms. Minter was the daughter of the late Ewart Randolph Connor, Sr. and Betty Malone Purvis Connor. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ewart Randolph Connor, Jr. She was a graduate of Tift County High School and received a 4-year degree from Georgia State University. She was co-owner of McGarian and Minter, Inc.
Ms. Minter is survived by one sister, Connie Lynn McGarian of Orlando, Florida; and a niece. Cora Lynn McGarian of Brooklyn, New York.
