DiMARTINO, Giuseppe, of Winthrop, passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on August 19, 2018. He was 85 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Francesca (Brucato) DiMartino. Born in Santa Caterina, Italy, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Giuseppina (Delutro) DiMartino. Devoted father of Marie Josephine Stiglic and her husband Richard of Princeton, NJ, Tina Kennedy and her husband Joe of Byfield and the late Salvatore DiMartino, who passed away two days after his father on August 21, 2018, and his wife Paula of Winthrop. Adored grandfather of Karlye, Karissa, Andrew, Colby, Geneva, Joseph, Meredith, Alexandra, Nicholas and Catina. Dear brother of the late Pasquelina Tinnerillo, Salvatore DiMartino and Rosario DiMartino. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held, along with his beloved son Sal, at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop on Thursday, August 30 from 9-11am. A Funeral Mass, together with his son, will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited. Entombment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Please omit flowers.
