HIRAM- Linda Faye Glatzer, 75, passed away on August 21st, 2018 at Fryeburg Health Care. She was born in Hiram on November 1, 1942, to the late Hartley Wayne and Irma (Adams) Pendexter.
Linda is a graduate of Porter High School. For over 30 years, Linda was affectionately known for her role as “lunch lady” at Sacopee Valley High School. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church for many years where she sang in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher. Some of Linda’s favorite pass times include listening to gospel and country music, crocheting and knitting, baking, completing puzzles, bowling and reading. She also loved seeing and catching up with all of her classmates from school at their yearly class reunions. Although many of these things brought her great joy, her family was something she loved most.
Linda will be remembered for the love that she spread with every step that she took and every person that she met, for the bravery and courage that she demonstrated as she stood tall and battled breast cancer twice and won, for the willingness to help anyone who needed it, and for the caring and nurturing personality that was so natural.
She is predeceased by three infant children and her granddaughter Shanan Loud. She is survived by her beloved husband Frederick Glatzer; her children- Russell Glatzer and his wife Stephenie of Hiram and Denise Glatzer and boyfriend Brian Morse of Hiram; sisters- Judith Sargent and her husband Clifton, Sandra Webster and her husband Tim and Laurel Pendexter; grandchildren- Caleb, Emma, and Sydnie Glatzer and Cole Miller and Keira Greene; great grandchildren- Bayley and Evyn Edgerly; Not to forget Terria Palmer, whom she loved her like a Daughter and was a God Mother to Terria’s son Andrew. Last but not least, all of her many nieces and nephews all of whom she loved so dearly.
