Helen "Chickie" Ciulla, age 86, of Medford, formerly of Revere, died peacefully on August 23rd surrounded by her children and loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. "Chuck" Ciulla.
Helen spent many years as Medford school crossing guard where she loved to talk and interact with the children on their way to and from school. Helen also spent time in her later years as a teacher`s aide in the Medford Public School system working with special needs children.
Helen and her late husband "Chuck" loved travelling and taking long drives listening to music. Helen loved the beach and the ocean with Revere Beach and the Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine holding special places in her heart. Most of all, Helen loved spending time with her family. Nothing made Helen happier than having all of her children and grandchildren together, laughing and telling stories about what was going on their lives and reminiscing and laughing about all of their cherished memories. Helen was also recently very proud to become a great-grandmother. Helen cherished the time with her family and grandchildren and was always there to offer love and support to them.
Helen`s children and grandchildren will forever remember her beautiful smile, her kindness and her never-ending love and support and will miss her deeply. Mom, you will live in our hearts forever.
Helen is survived by her devoted children; Kathlyn Silvestri and her husband Ronald of Middleton, Robert Ciulla and his wife Angela of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lori Jacobsen and her husband James of Jupiter, FL, Chris Ciulla and his wife Shelley of Marblehead, and the late Charles S. "Chuckie" Ciulla. She was the loving grandmother of Matthew and Adam Silvestri, Jennelle Ciulla Noll, Amanda and Sydney Ciulla, Trey and Trevor Jacobsen. Loving great grandmother of Gianna Noll. Sister of the late Gloria Mosko and John Tranford.
A prayer service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday, August 29th, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment services will be private.
