Sandra L. Berger, 71 of Londonderry, NH died Wednesday August 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Sandra was born in Lynn, MA on September 5, 1946, the daughter of the late Harry and Gilda (Kashnow) Dornfeld. She had resided in Londonderry for the past 31 years, formerly living in Andover and Lynn, MA. Sandra was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School Class of 1964, and later graduated from Fisher Junior College in Boston, MA. Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all she met.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Howard M. Berger of Londonderry, two children, Karin Lewis and her husband Jay of Concord, NH, and Stephen Berger of Windham, NH, two granddaughters, Rachel Lewis and Sarah Lewis of Concord, one brother, Gerald Dornfeld and his wife Marilyn of The Villages, FL, as well as several nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Tuesday August 28, 2018 from 3 – 6 pm in the Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A celebration of Sandra’s life will begin at 6:00 pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to the Berger home in Londonderry on Wednesday August 29, 2018 after 10 am to spend time with the family.
