Gilford, NH. ----- Jacqueline A. Fecteau Brasley, 93, formerly of Old Lakeshore Road, Gilford, and lived at Meredith Bay Colony Club for the past two years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Lakes Region General Hospital.
Jackie was born on July 8, 1925 in Laconia, the daughter of Henry J. and Mary C. (Morin) Smith.
Jackie was an administrative assistant for the mayor and the city manager for many years. Along with being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was an avid golfer, she enjoyed sewing and any type of craft, and was a gifted painter like her father.
Jackie is survived by her son, Donald J. Fecteau and his wife Ruth both of Laconia, and her daughter Mary Fecteau McIntire of Belmont. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Ryan L. McIntire and his partner Kim McPherson of Weirs Beach, Sonsa Ivone and her husband Adam of Moutonborough, Michelle Godiwala and her husband Nihal of New Orleans, Jaimal Fecteau and his wife Emily from Mooresville N.C., and Danielle Sands and her husband John from Laconia. She is also survived by 10 great grand children.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband Albert H. Fecteau Jr. and Rene P. Brasley and her siblings , Pete Smith, Dorothy Audet, Charlotte Toutaint, Jack Smith, Rolland Smith, Germain Cushing, Oliver Smith and Red Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Garfield Street, Laconia NH on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
