John P. Clary, 45

Dateline: Mansfield, MA

John P. Clary, age 45, a resident of Mansfield, where he resided for most of his life, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2018.

Born in Norwood, MA on January 3, 1973, he was a loving son of the late John W. And Beverly E. (Lewin) Clary.

John grew up in Mansfield and was a 1991 graduate of Mansfield High School. He was a self-employed plumber and proud owner of the D & D Plumbing Co.

John was an outstanding father who loved his children more than anything else in life. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and all that nature had to offer. John also had a passion for music and was a member and bass guitar player for “Reason Enough”, a band he played in with his lifelong friends.

He is survived by his cherished and devoted children Shannon Clary and John “Jack” Clary, both of Mansfield. He was the dear brother of Shirley R. Byron and her husband Jeff of Pinehurst, North Carolina. He was the beloved longtime boyfriend of Alison O’Neill of Mansfield. He is also survived by his adoring nephews Timothy Byron, and Daniel Byron and his former wife Debbi Doddenhoff.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited at attend a memorial service in celebration of John’s life on Friday, August 24th at 7:00 P.M. at the Wrentham Sportsmen’s Club, 7 Madison Street in Plainville.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
