In Loving Memory of
Michael D. Turnquist
On Thursday, August 2, 2018 Mikes sunset arrived as he went home to the LORD and his journey through life that was created especially for him here on earth came to an end while at his home in Foster.
Mike's sunrise was March 12, 1965 in Providence, RI a son to Paula E. (Gallant) Turnquist and the late Donald R. Turnquist, Sr. of Foster. Mike grew up in Foster and attended the Foster school system and was a graduate of Ponaganset High School.
Mike "Twisty" was a special person - A friend to all.. So loved and cared about - There was nothing he would'nt do to help other's.
In his younger year's Mike along with his family were passionate about his karting year's as he was a member of "WKA"(World Karting Association) and was a "WKA" track champion and a multi-time winner throughout the United States- Mike was an avid gardner-enjoyed fishing and nature-He also loved sharing time with his family and friend's reminiciing and making them happy.
Mike worked at the family owned Turnquist Lumber Company, Foster, RI and was more recently a painter and took great pride in his work.
Mike leaves to cherish precious memorie's with his love Terry-Beautiful daughter Crystal and grandson Jordan-His loving Mom Paula-Caring brother's Donald-Paul and Christopher Turnquist along with many loving relative's and friend's.
Mike lived every moment-Laughed everyday-Loved unconditionaly and loved life.
