PORTER- Gail Marie Gordon, age 58, passed away August 16th, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Portland Maine on July 5th 1960, a daughter of the late Carroll and Myrna (Day) Harmon. After graduating Sacopee Valley High School, Gail went on to serve in the United States Army for 8 years as a communications sergeant and drill sergeant, receiving an honorable discharge at the end of her service.
Gail was very fond of her friends and family and enjoyed gardening, cooking, collecting books and traveling.
Gail was in the healthcare field for many years working as a CNA.
Gail was in a long term relationship with her domestic partner, Rosa Martinez. Throughout the years they raised 3 dogs and enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and family.
Gail is predeceased by her beloved parents Carroll and Myrna Harmon and a sister Noreen (Harmon) Wescott.
Gail is survived by her domestic partner of 14 years Rosa Martinez, her 2 children Olivia and Derek Gordon, her brother Clifford “Skip” Harmon, a sister Debra Schweickhardt, and loving cousin Brenda Locklin.
A celebration of life will be held on August 26th, 2018 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at 10 Stanley Shores in Hiram, Me.
