Allan Anthony "T.T." Monteiro, Sr., 47, of Hyannis passed away suddenly in New Bedford on Thursday August 9, 2018. He was the husband of Shania (Mendes) Monteiro.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Robert R. and Ann M. (Barros) Monteiro, he lived in New Bedford for many years before moving to Hyannis.
T.T. was employed as a sous chef in various restaurants on Cape Cod.
He enjoyed football, fishing, cooking for family functions, and spending time with his children and granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife Shania; his children, Ciara, Allan Jr., Elijah, Naomi, Tiara, and Kaelyse; his granddaughter, Davina; his siblings, Robin Offley Atkinson, Donna Offley Johnson and her husband Richard, Robert Adam Monteiro, Richard Monteiro, Vern Cardoza, Alana "Poopsie" Monteiro, Chris DeMello, Dorothy Andrews, and Tamara Sinkler; his grandmother, Pauline Faria; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his son, Baby Allan.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 3-7 PM, prior to the Funeral Service.
