New Ipswich----Evangeline O. Rochefort, 82, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2018 on the feast of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, after a long illness.
Evangeline was born December 3, 1935 in Caribou, ME the daughter of the late Eugene and Eva (Cowette) Albert. Growing up on a family farm she was one of eighteen brothers and sisters.
Evangeline was a devout Catholic living a dedicated life of prayer; her and her husband Walter started the Traditional Latin Mass Association. She also loved time with her family.
Evangeline is survived by a son, Craig McNeal and his wife, Nancy; a daughter Ellema Albert Neal; a step-son, Walter Rochefort III; two step-daughters, Syndi Ann Rochefort and Jacquelyne Stasonis and her husband, William; three brothers, Chester “Chet” Albert, Francis Albert, and Joseph Albert; a sister, Julianna Jacobs; nineteen grandchildren, Erin McFarland and her husband Michael, Matthew McNeal and his wife, Luciana, Christopher McNeal, Emily McNeal, Gregory McNeal, Elise McNeal, Gabriel McNeal, Evangelyn McNeal, Niquita McNeal, Michael Bartolotta Jr., Nicole Nicols and her husband, Anderson, Kimberly Bartolotta, Vincent Bartolotta, Walter Gogolya, Lora Gogolya Parker and her husband, Devon, Amanda Hanson and Rich, and Dave Hanson, Jessyca Parish; fourteen great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary, Nathanial, Johnathan, Elizabeth, Samuel, Mylena, Amelia, Alana, Aiden, Noelle, Ellias, Christopher and Bella; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband, Walter Rochefort; a daughter, Taryn Parish, and several brothers and sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery 500 Morrill Street Gilford, NH
