Elaine M. Laurila (DiFronzo) of Medford passed away at the Wakefield Center Nursing Home. She was 75. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Americo and Florence (LoPilato) DiFronzo. Elaine was as a manicurist in her brother’s salon for many years. She was a dear friend to many and enjoyed time with her family and friends.
The Devoted mother of Gregory Laurila and his wife Mafalda, she was a loving grandmother to Mary. She was a beloved sister of Arcangelo DiFronzo and his wife Maureen of Medford, Peter DiFronzo and his late wife Audrey of Stoneham, Richard DiFronzo and his wife Joanne of Woburn, the late Americo DiFronzo, Robert DiFronzo and Ann Marie Venezia. Elaine also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, August 20th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8.
