Obituary

DUDLEY – Eleanor P. (White) Malboeuf, 89, formerly of Progress Avenue, died Sunday, Nov. 27, in Webster Manor. Her husband of 56 years, Edmund J. Malboeuf, died in 1996.

She leaves a son, Edmund T. Malboeuf and his wife Helen of Walnut Creek, CA; a daughter, Ann Saffo and her husband John of Shelton, CT; a sister, Mary Kelly of Dudley; six grandchildren, Cris Scanlon, John and David Saffo, Michael Malboeuf, Sr., Gregory and Susan Malboeuf; three great grandchildren, Dawn, Melody and Michael, Jr.; nieces and nephews.

She was born in North Brookfield and raised in Webster, a daughter of Thomas and Katherine (Kelleher) White. She lived in Dudley since 1940. She graduated from St. Louis High School in Webster.

Mrs. Malboeuf was the payroll administrator at Deary Brothers for many years before retiring in 1976. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church.

The funeral will be held Thursday, December 1, from Scanlon Funeral Service, East Main St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 8:15 to 9:15 AM Thursday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home. The family suggests donations be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, PO Box 277, Dudley, MA 01571 .
