LIMINGTON- Pauline J. Black, age 82, passed away at her home, surrounded by family on Aug. 14, 2018.
She was born in Baldwin on July 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Richard and Blanche (Grubb) Black.
Pauline is a graduate of Limington Academy and went on to work for the Maine Dress Co. in Cornish, the Barron Center in Portland, GTE in Windham and GTE in Standish.
She enjoyed dancing, being on her computer, flowers and gardening, crocheting, baking, and going out to eat with GTE retirees. She will always be remembered for her love of family, being at family gatherings, and having a full house.
She is predeceased by her husband Elton S. Black; brothers- Chester and Stephen Black; brother – in – law- Arnold Cousins; and a grandson- Trevor Carter.
Pauline is survived by her children- Paula Mowatt and her significant other Russell Mowatt of Limington, Ricky Black and his wife Debra of Limington, and Rhonda Collomy and her husband Don of Baldwin; brother- Bryant Black and his wife Lois of Limington; sister- Barbara Cousins of Baldwin; sisters-in-law- Sharon Black of Limington and Jean Black of FL; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
