ANDERSON, SOUTH CAROLINA: Jeanne D. (Derry) Maubert, 91, formerly of Wayland, died peacefully and comfortably on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at her daughter’s home following a period of declining health.
She was born in Boston on November 24, 1926 the daughter of the late Gardner C. Derry and Hazel Maud (Goodine) Derry.
Jeanne was a graduate of Hollins College in Virginia with the Class of 1948. She had a long career as the Secretary to Rev. Dr. Donald S. Ewing of Trinitarian Congregational Church of Wayland. She resided in Wayland for over 28 years and spent 11 years in West Falmouth.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Paul H.N. Maubert of Frederick, Maryland and Nicole M. Walukewicz of Anderson South Carolina. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 niece and 1 nephew. She was wife of the late Henry J. Maubert.
Family and friends are invited to her graveside service on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:30 am at North Cemetery, Old Sudbury Road (Rte. 27), Wayland.
