Oscar A. Rivera, 45, passed away August 8, 2018 at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich.
He was the husband of Kaylie A. (Rutkowski) Rivera.
Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Gloria H. Rosario Hernandez.
Mr. Rivera enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping and above all, spending time with his family.
Along with his wife, survivors include his children: Oscar Rivera, Zuleyka Rivera, Arielis Rivera, Erika Rivera Souza, Aramis Rivera and Okilani Rivera; his step-children: Kasai Tanco, Hayden Cornell and Hunter Cornell; his siblings: Carmen Rodriguez, Iris Luciano, Minerva Luciano, Felix Luciano, Jose Cotto, Luis Cotto, Jaime Rivera and Alexander Diaz; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Maritza Cotto and Elic Diaz.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 8:30 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption, Second St. Fall River. Interment will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 15th from 5 - 8 PM.
