Kathleen M. Chapdelaine, age 82, passed away at Reeds Landing in Springfield surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 19, 1936 in Springfield to the late Michael and Catherine (Russell) Rahilly. Kathleen was a graduate of Chicopee High class of 1954. She was a communicant of the former St Patrick Church in Chicopee. She is predeceased by her husband Edward N. Chapdelaine who passed away in 2008. Kathleen was an outstanding Wife, Mother and Nana. She valued the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her daughter Susan M. Kudlacik and her husband Edward of Glenville, NY, daughter Nancy A. Moskowicz and her husband Kent of Suffield, CT, son Edward J. Chapdelaine and his wife Patricia (Snow) Chapdelaine of Granby, MA and daughter Christine L. Coulter and her husband Kevin of Chicopee, MA; one brother, John Rahilly and his wife Barbara of Chicopee; one sister, Irene Rahilly and of South Hadley and nine grandchildren Nicholas and Christopher Kudlacik, Douglas Moskowicz, Cassandra Chapdelaine, Caitlin Chapdelaine, Jillian Coulter, Matthew Coulter, Andrew Moskowicz and Jessica Chapdelaine. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 11:00 a.m. in Mary, Mother of Hope Church.
