Deady, John Barry, 81, formerly of Dedham and Dorchester, passed away suddenly on August 2, 2018. A proud “Triple Eagle,” he was a graduate of Boston College High School, Boston College and Boston College Law School. John retired as an Assistant Clerk of Courts at the Plymouth County Superior Court in Brockton after many years of service. More recently, John lived at Wingate Residences in Needham where he was well known for always greeting fellow residents with a big smile and good conversation.
John leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Bernice M. Deady; sister, Sister Eleanor Deady, C.S.J.; son Jay Deady; daughters Maura Deady Loftus, Alyssa Welsch Rovito, and Carolyn Deady (Schlosser); and ten grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held for John at St. Mary’s Church, 25 Avery St., Dedham, on Thursday, August 9, at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to celebrate John’s life at a reception immediately following the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in John’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org
