Rosemary (Lyons) Boucher, 94, of New Bedford died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Sacred Heart Home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Paul J. "Ernest" Boucher, Sr.
Born in White River Junction, VT, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Slattery) Lyons, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
Rosemary loved animals and enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors.
She is survived by her son, Paul J. Boucher of New Bedford; four grandsons, Christopher, Ernest J., Beau, and Joseph Boucher; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her son, Ernest D. Boucher and her 13 siblings.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
