David W. “Macky” McKinnon, 71, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday August 4, 2018. He was born in Woburn, MA on June 30, 1947 the son of the late William and Theresa (Boudry) McKinnon and moved to Berlin when he was 16. He lived for a short time in Columbia, NH before returning to Berlin where he has since resided. David graduated from Colebrook Academy and was a Veteran of the US Army of the Vietnam War. He had been employed by F.X. Lyons as a water systems operator and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his son and taking his daily walk. David will be sadly missed by his wife, children and grandchildren.
Family includes his wife Suzanne (Flanders) McKinnon of Berlin, NH; his son Scott McKinnon and wife Gwen of Berlin, NH; daughter Sandra McKinnon-Lynn and husband Jeffrey of Center Tuftonboro, NH; grandchildren Kirsten McKinnon of Berlin, NH and Sydney Lynn of Center Tuftonboro, NH; great granddaughter, Chloe; siblings Roberta Lajoie, Kizzie Sullivan, Jeffrey McKinnon and Roy McKinnon; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Joy Pederson.
Memorial Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday August 8, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Donations in his memory may be made to a Veteran’s organization of one’s choice.
