Mrs. Lianne (Jastremski) Cappuccio, 66, of Salem, passed away peacefully with family at her side, on August 1, 2018 at Kaplan Family Hospice House after a more than two decade battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was the loving wife of Frank S. Cappuccio, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage. Born in Salem to Nancy (Bartlett) (Jastremski) Haines of Marblehead and the late Stephen Jastremski of Marblehead. She grew up in Marblehead and lived in Salem for the past 46 years. Lianne graduated from Marblehead High School, and Marian Court College, in Swampscott. She worked for 30 years in various roles for National Grid (formerly Massachusetts Electric).
Most of all Lianne loved spending time with her family, sharing in activities such as traveling, cooking, skiing, hiking, camping, motorcycle riding, beach swimming and social get togethers.
In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by daughter Stephanie Lyons and son-in-law, Sean, of Gilbert, AZ; daughter Kristen Hirschfeld and son-in-law, Adam, of Beverly; grandchildren Jack and Louisa Lyons, and Abigail Hirschfeld; mother Nancy Haines of Marblehead; as well as her sisters, Lynne deGrandpre (Jastremski) and Laurie Lamarre (Jastremski), brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and a nephew.
Lianne’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Star of the Sea church - 253 Cabot St. Beverly, MA 01915. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, August 7th from 4-8 p.m. at Levesque Funeral Home - 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem, MA 01970. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, Lianne requested donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Kaplan Family Hospice House.
