CARRAGHER, Scott W. Of Quincy formerly of Wellesley, passed away on July 30, 2018, at age 30. Scott is the beloved son of Daniel J. Carragher and Allison C. Troy of Wellesley, brother of Kaitlin Carragher of San Francisco, CA, grandson of Lorna Troy of Newton, and the late Jeffrey Troy, and the late Jack and Audrey Carragher. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Scott was a graduate of Wellesley High School class of 2006, and the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He worked as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for supporting and developing products, at LogMeIn in Boston.
Scott cherished his friends and was an avid Wisconsin Badgers fan. He had a curious and gifted mind, and loved technology, the outdoors, and music. He loved his dog Madison, whom he named after his favorite place.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) WELLESLEY, Sunday, Aug. 5 from 3-7pm. Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 502 Washington St., Wellesley, Monday, Aug. 6 at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
