Obituary

Lucas Michael Spencer

CENTER CONWAY- Luke left us suddenly July 28th, 2018. He was taken way too young having just turned 21. Not all of us survive youthful invincibility.

Luke was a kind, loving and compassionate young man. He loved being around people and making them laugh and smile with his quick wit. Luke could light up a room upon entering and was at ease speaking with anybody. He was a strong, independent, determined young man; he was a very deep, unique, “outside the box” thinker.

Luke loved a stage, whether it was ruling the Gibson Center dining room from his high chair, tipping his sequined top hat at his dance recitals as a young child or flexing his muscles as a teenager at body building competitions.

He attended Fryeburg Academy where he greatly enjoyed being on the wrestling team and weight lifting in the gym. Luke spent many years honing his skills at karate working his way up to a brown belt with two stripes.

During and after high school, Luke worked a variety of jobs in the area especially enjoying being part of the crew at the Comfort Inn and ultimately finding a sense of belonging with the team at Seadog Brewing Company.

Luke is survived by his parents, Rick and Gena Spencer and his sister, Laura as well as several cousins, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of his life will be held at Seadog Brewing Co. in North Conway on Monday, Aug.13th from 2-6 PM with shared words at 4 PM.
