John Linton, 66, of Ventura, CA, passed away on July 16 while on a long planned camping trip through the West with his wife Carolyn and their two dogs. John was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Jane and Richard Linton on March 10, 1952. He graduated from Seaholm High School in Birmingham, Michigan in 1970. After graduation he attended Wayne State University in Detroit. John's number one priority was his family. He enjoyed riding and maintaining motorcycles and bicycles, and he was always ready for a roadtrip with the dogs. John is survived by his loving family: his wife, Carolyn, and their three sons, Scott, Tom and James; sisters Deborah, Kate and Julie; and grand daughter Addie (parents are Tom and Chelsea). He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Jane.
