Odilon Offre (85) of Brockton died July 29th in the Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Verona Benjamin.
He was born in Hinche, Haiti, son of late Lucas Offre and Idalie Riviere. Odilon was a farmer in his native country. Communicant of Christ the King Parish. He was a hard worker who loved to socialize with family and friends and was known for being a ladies’ man. His wonderful sense of humor and smile could light up a room.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Osmane Offre, Wilner Offre, Dourard Offre, Veronia Offre, Odulie Offre, Esperanta Offre, Mackenson Offre, Dieufor Offre, Monette Offre, Anne Rose Offre, Volter Offre and Mina Offre. As well as 35 grandchildren, 12 great-grand children, daughters in law and dear friend Ketty Philemond.
Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday August 4th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at Christ the King Church 54 Lyman Street Brockton at 10 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Friday August 3rd from 5-8 pm.
