Lino P. Costa, age 82 of Canton, MA formerly of Foxboro and Quincy passed away July 29th at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Bedford, he was raised in Newport, RI and graduated from Roger’s High School in Newport and attended Bentley University. Lino was a proud Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a Shoe Buyer for Morse Shoe in Canton where he spent his entire career and also served as president of the 555 Credit Union. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Executive Sportsman Club. Beloved husband of Martha T. (McLaughlin). Father of Joseph Costa of Duxbury, John Costa of Warwick, RI, Jerald Costa of Wakefield and the late James Costa, formerly of Randolph. Also survived by 7 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Friday morning at 10. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
