Mary Teresa (Travers) Berube, 94, of Reno, Nevada passed away July 19, 2018 at her home. She was born February 1, 1924 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Peter and Helen (Osborne) Travers.
Teresa lived most of her life in New Bedford, but lived in Wareham for several years before moving to Reno in 2007. She was formerly employed by Tomlinson and O'Neil Insurance for many years, and later volunteered at Holy Family-Holy Name School in New Bedford.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Church in New Bedford, St. Patrick's Church in Wareham, and St. Rose of Lima Church in Reno.
Teresa was preceded in death by her husband Herve Berube, and is survived by her son, David Berube.
A visitation will be held on Thursday August 2, 2018 from 10-11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by a graveside service at St. Mary's Cemetery at 11:15 AM.
