Danny J. Royer, 82, Anderson, went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2018 at Community Northview.
He was born June 20, 1936 in Union City, Indiana the son of Ralph and Dorothy (Heath) Royer.
Danny was a manager with Marsh Super Markets for 32 years. Following retirement, he was a senior tax specialist with H & R Block, for 20 years until April 2018.
Danny was an active member of Chesterfield Christian Church where he served as an elder. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and time with his family. He enjoyed racing and attended the Indy 500 for 32 consecutive years.
Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Chesterfield Christian Church with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the 12 noon service on Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Janice (Leaver) Royer of Anderson; son, Danny W. (Tammy) Royer; two daughters, Brenda (Jim) Baldwin; and Dianna (Tony) Atwell; brother, Jack (Pat) Royer and sister, Dottie (Donnie) Wantz; six grandchildren, Sarah Royer, Danny R. Royer, Chelsea Baldwin; Jimmy (Olivia) Baldwin; Anthony Atwell and Abby (Jacob) Graham; seven great grandchildren with # 8 arriving in December and several nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Phyllis Posey.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or Chesterfield Christian Church.
