In Taunton, July 28, 2018 Marguerite “Peggy” M. Kelly, Age 95, passed away in Marian Manor Nursing Home following a brief period of declining health while surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was the wife of the late John Kelly. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Patrick & Rose (Sheridan) Kiernan. She was born in Taunton and educated in Taunton schools. Peggy was a lifetime resident of Taunton. She was employed as a finisher in the aircraft division at Haskon Industries in Taunton for 25 years. Peggy enjoyed cooking, walking, reading, going to her summer cottage on Cape Cod, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and spending time with her family and friends. Peggy is survived by her beloved children, Marguerite “Peggy” Zuba and her husband John of Taunton and Joan Brown and her late husband Stephen of Middleboro. She also leaves her grandchildren, Jennifer Thomas and her husband Greg of Middleboro, Jack Brown and his wife Erin of Bridgewater and Tim Zuba of Taunton, her great grandchildren, Bridgette, Hayden and Natalie, Lilly and Abby. She is the sister of Sheila Freitas of Taunton and the late John Kiernan, Patricia Viveiros, Eleanor Sanborn, William Kiernan and Eugene Kiernan. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Friday, August 3rd at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10am. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. In lieu of flowers donations in Marguerite’s memory may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
