Imelda J. “Millie” Walas
Manchester– Imelda J. “Millie” (Duhaime) Gregoire Walas, 99, passed away July 26, 2018 at Maple Leaf Healthcare Center surrounded by her family following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on December 3, 1918 the daughter of Rodolphe and Alice (Thibodeau) Duhaime.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Walas.
Family members include one daughter; Lorraine A. Legasse, one granddaughter; Kim Burke and husband, David, one grandson; Scott Legasse and his wife, Brenda, four great granddaughters; Jennifer Burke, Aubrey Legasse, Emily Burke and Hailey Legasse, two sons; Robert Ronald Gregoire of Holiday FL., Richard Walas and his wife, Cathy, two sisters; Carmelle LaRochelle, husband Robert, Lillian Ouellette and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also predeceased by brothers, Alphee Duhaime, Armand Duhaime, Gerald Duhaime, Edmond Duhaime, Bertrand Duhaime, Lucien Duhaime, and sisters, Yvonne Duhaime, Bernadette Lortie. Elise Lambert and Muriel Clement.
Calling hours will be on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 10 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, So. Elm St.
Committal prayers will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Donald St, Bedford.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Food Pantry at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm St., Manchester NH 03103.
