McPhee, Daniel J. of Quincy, November 22, 2005

Beloved husband of the late Edna (Conley) McPhee . Loving father of Arlene A. Pacino of Quincy, Kenneth G. McPhee of Norwell, and the late Daniel J. Jr. Brother of Mary "Helen" McPhee of Quincy, the late Fred and Dennis McPhee. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 10 AM.

Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, No. Quincy at 11 AM.

Visiting hours Sunday 4-8

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Dan was a life member of the North Quincy Knights of Columbus, an usher at Sacred Heart Church, No. Quincy for over 50 yrs. He will be most remembered as an avid supporter of North Quincy High School. Dan was extremely active in all sporting events at the high school as he helped his son Ken coach at the school. He was a member of the Quincy-North Quincy Hall of Fame and a fund raiser for the group. He was also a member of the D.A.V, an usher at Fenway park, and a long time ticket holder for the Patriots. He was also a member of the lighting committee that installed the lights at Veterans Stadium in Quincy, After his retirement from the Navy Yard, Dan worked as the receiver and shipper at Universal Fixtures in Quincy for 10 years, retiring in 1988. He and his late wife Edna were married for over 56 years. Dan also was a Navy veteran, serving in both WW II and Korea.

Donations in memory of Mr. McPhee may be made to North Quincy High School Football Fund.
