Lynda Prescott Crowe, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at Cambridge Post-Acute Care in Snellville, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Mahan officiating.
Ms. Crowe was born February 19, 1941, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Willis W. & Sarah Wylene Thompson Prescott. She retired from Deep South in Fitzgerald and enjoyed working with the Arts Council at The Grand Theatre. She loved to sing and was a member of a trio that sang at weddings. Ms. Crowe loved animals and always had dogs. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, where she was a member of the choir.
She is survived by her brother, Phillip Prescott & Nancy of Snellville; two nieces: Traci Avers & Peter of Snellville and Paige Rogers & Will of Denver, Colorado; four grand-nephews and one grand-niece. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
