Kevin A. Reeves, age 54, of Cumming, Georgia, formerly of Easton, Berkley, Raynham and Norton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey on August 3, 1963, he was a loving son of the late Durward B. and Shirley F. (Reeve) Reeves.
Kevin grew up in Norton and was a 1981 graduate of Norton High School. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army as a door gunner and also as a mechanic.
He had made his home in Georgia for the past four years and was employed as a Superintendent fro the Barton Malow Company in Cumming, Georgia. He was the former owner of Hunter Concrete and K & D Construction.
Kevin treasured times spent with his adoring family. He loved the great outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, scuba diving, hiking, camping and the open roads riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his devoted children Douglas B. Reeves of Falmouth, Daniel R. Reeves of Raynham and Kristen Hebert of Ohio. He was the dear brother of Douglas W. Reeves of North Carolina, Susan L. Hillman of Attleboro, Lori Stover of Michigan and the late Chris D. Reeves. He was the cherished grandfather of Logan, Darrien and Jeannette. He was the former husband of Stacey Reeves of Falmouth, and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday, July 30th at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial with military honors will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 29th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home
