Phyllis S. (Marcoux) Pearsall, 76, of Westport, passed away following a brief illness on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She has been reunited with her beloved husband, the late Herbert L. "Roy" Pearsall with whom she shared her life for almost 60 years.
Mrs. Pearsall was born and raised in New Bedford, daughter of the late Isaac H. and Jeannette A. (Henner) Marcoux and had resided in Westport since 1973. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Holiday Lanes, Westport and later became a tax preparer for H&R Block where she stayed for 35 years until her retirement in 2015. Mrs. Pearsall enjoyed bowling and was an avid reader. She was a very spiritual person and her two greatest loves were her grandchildren and traveling.
Survivors include her 2 daughters: Nicole J. Botelho of Westport and Michele L. Hall and her husband Mike of Westport; her sister: Claudette Lemay of Ventura, CA; 4 grandchildren: Samantha, Sydney, Gabriel and Jacob; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Florence L'Abbe, Georgette Simon and Theresa Lemos.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours will be Monday from 5-7 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
