BUXTON- Maureen Tracy, of Buxton, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2018. She was born on January 22, 1943, to John and Mary Ellen Davin. She was raised in Falmouth and attended Falmouth schools. Graduating from Pierre’s School of Beauty, Maureen was a self-employed beautician.
Maureen met everyone with her warm smile and cheerful demeanor. She will be remembered for her love, devotion and enjoyment of family. She often hosted gatherings of both family and friends at her home, where she would entertain with her wonderful cooking, piano playing, singing, and reminiscing. Always ready with a wise and encouraging word, Maureen also helped those in need around her. Friendly, yet determined, Maureen did it all with grace, dignity, style and compassion.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Elliott Tracy, her parents, and her siblings John Davin, Eugene Davin, and Peggy Schultz. She is survived by her children, Kenny Brink of Saco, Colleen Brink and fiancé Tom Kivler of Pownal, and Kelly Willey and husband Chris of Buxton, her beloved grandchildren, Krista, Sullivan, Erin and Olivia, and her brother, Timothy Davin and wife Debbie.
May she rest peacefully and joyfully in the presence of the Lord and those whom she loved and missed so much.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday July 28 from 2 -4 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt. 22) in Buxton.
