Acushnet – Cheryl A. Burtch, 56, of Acushnet passed away at home on July 11, 2018. She was the wife of Jane A. (Peters) Miller.
Ms. Burtch was born in New Bedford, daughter of William L. and Arlene F. (Silva) Burtch, and resided in Acushnet most of her life. She was employed as a laborer by Burtch Construction until leaving due to disability. Cheryl was extremely proud of her Native American heritage and was a member of the Belknap Indian Community, Harlem, MT. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, tending bar, was an animal lover and loved family and friends cookouts.
In addition to her wife and parents, she is survived by her aunt Tippy; uncle Seth; many cousins; 1 niece; 1 nephew; 2 great nieces; and her 2 legged, 4 legged and feathered friends everywhere. She was predeceased by her sister Robin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial visiting hours at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Saturday, July 21, 2018, 4-6:30 P.M. followed immediately by a memorial service at 6:30 P.M.
