Augusta, GA – Charles Earl Cooper, 74, entered rest on Friday, July 13, 2018.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Apostle Roderick O. Davenport, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Charles was born in Sebring, FL but made Augusta his home for many years. He worked for International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers #3 for over 50 years. Charles was a talented electrician and loved using his skills to improve things around his home. Charles enjoyed traveling, fishing, and driving his Corvette. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his daughter; Angelique Edwards-Cooper of Augusta, GA, three sisters; Eunice Williams of VA, Alfreda Braylark of Lithonia, GA, Synella West of Sebring, FL, three grandchildren; Anita Edwards, Alyce Sanders, Tony Sanders. He also leaves behind In-laws and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and treasured friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
