Mother of Arthur Correia & Christie Dos Santos both of New Bedford, MA, & Erica Correia of Fall River, MA. Sister of Manuel Vieira, Mario Vieira, and Linda Freitas of Fall River, MA and Maria Cabral of Bristol, RI, Five Grandchildren & Several nieces and nephews.
Born in Madelena Pico, Azores, the daughter of Manuel Tavares of Fall River and the late Inez (Vieira) Tavares. She was a Fall River resident for most of her life. She was a Homemaker and had previously worked for the former Lee Sack Shoe Co. of New Bedford and C.H.F. of Fall River.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA on Saturday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10:00A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River, MA. Calling Hours Friday 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
