Obituary

Edward William Mutch left this Earth on the afternoon of July 17th in The Amazing city of Lowell Massachusetts. He was born Into meager upbringings and when his mother Thelma died when he was 3 things got even tougher. He ended up being raised by his father Harold mutch and he molded him in to the man he became later on in life. He was raised in Somerville Massachusetts and later resided in Tewksbury Massachusetts.

He is survived by his loving wife Susan who will forever miss him. He had four amazing children that he absolutely loved Kevin, Cheryl, Edward Jr, and Tara. He tried really hard in his own ways to show that he loved them. He also has numerous grandchildren that he adored spending time with. He will be missed deeply by his children.

"Mutchie" as many people know him served in the US Army as a firefighter/ engineer for many years. He was on the Cambridge fire department axillary for 10 years which he absolutely loved. He also worked at James A Kiley company of Somerville Massachusetts for 25 years until his retirement. He enjoyed so much going to the American Legion post 19 in Somerville Massachusetts to where he had so many of his extended family and friends. In his later life when he started to get sick he loved his cooking shows and being online 7 days a week.

Before he got sick he was the life of the party anytime we would have people over. My (Kevin) friends have so many great memories of him being that fun guy downstairs in the basement. If you were close with him you'll know what that basement meant. He will forever be known as the "Clydesdale"!

In lieu of flowers, donations for his funeral services will be greatly appreciated. Please join us T J Callahan's in Tewksbury Massachusetts located at 1475 Main Street on Saturday July 21st 2018 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a celebration of life. He will be greatly missed. He loves you all.
