Hanson – Nancy Ann (Young) Shave 85, a longtime resident of Hanson, died Monday July 16 after a brief illness. She is the beloved wife of Robert L. Shave.
Prior to her retirement, Nancy had worked many years in the office of Ocean Spray Cranberry. She had enjoyed researching her family genealogy and was an avid quilter.
In addition to her husband Robert, she is survived by her loving sons Bradford Shave of Virginia, Kenton Shave and his wife Ellen of Brockton, Prescott Shave and his wife Arlene of Avon and Jamison Shave and his wife Mindi of Bridgewater, her siblings Douglas Young and his wife Judith of Lakeville and Sharon MacFadden and her husband Bruce of Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Natalie, Brad, Megan, Bobby and Cameron. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Lisa Shave.
